About our screenings

• Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
• Choice of 2 films starting at 9pm.
• No tickets required.
• Members only (or with 2 friends for SFS Reel Card Holders). Membership available at the door.

Admission is on the basis of a valid SFS membership card or SFS Reel Card, subject to seat availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Film titles for each Wednesday are updated on this web site on Tuesday of the preceding week. They are also emailed to our mailing list subscribers.

SFS has a long-standing tradition of partnership with other institutes such as The National Museum of Singapore. Members enjoy free admission to the World Cinema Series, a series of art-house and classic films screened at the Museum's Gallery Theatre. The World Cinema Series are held every second Tuesday of the month.

SFS also conducts its own screenings at The Picturehouse. Discussions and talks, with and by film practitioners, are an integral part of this programme. These sessions are open to SFS members only, who must produce a valid SFS membership card to be admitted.

Film titles and session details are updated on this web site and emailed to our mailing list subscribers as soon as the details are confirmed.

SFS co-organizes film festivals and events with partners in the diplomatic, arts, and social service communities throughout the year.

Tickets are normally sold for these festivals, and SFS members enjoy discounted ticket prices on production of a valid SFS membership card.

SFS festivals bring the best and very latest of international feature and short films to members and the public. As opportunities to organize such events can sometimes arise at short notice, details of such festivals will be posted on our home page and emailed to our mailing list subscribers.
