Da-Yu, a 15-year-old boy, is a loner drifting about in the city. He has difficulty expressing his emotions. Nobody likes him as he is a trouble-maker. One day, he is framed for stealing in school. After being humiliated by his teacher, he decides to fight back.
He runs away from school and home, meets some pickpockets by chance, and learns to survive by stealing. Liao and Lee are his master and his senior. Living on the edge causes conflict between Liao and Lee, yet they cannot stop depending on each other. Da-Yu's trials and tribulations help him discover that there is still something worth cherishing in this world.
