Friends of our dear friend, Toh Hai Leong, are coming together to present two films that he was greatly involved in.

Some of us would like to remember and celebrate Hai Leong's involvement and impact on Singapore cinema by showcasing a double bill screening of Zombie Dogs (directed by Hai Leong) and F, a personal documentary about Hai Leong and his battle with diabetes, made by film maker Chew Tze Chuan, with contributions from other friends of Hai Leong.

With great gratitude to The Substation, Zhao Wei Films and Chew Tze Chuan, all proceeds to the screening will be given away -  50% to Hai Leong's family, and the other 50% to a film fund set up by the community in Hai Leong's name.  The mechanics of the fund will be announced during the screening.

Do join us to pay tribute to a passionate soul who has been an endearing influence on the Singapore film scene for almost two decades from the 1980s to 2000s and to celebrate and remember the man's legacy.

Please note that Zombie Dog is rated at R21 and F is rated at NC16. Age restrictions will be enforced at the door, so do bring a photo ID for proof of age.

PS  Do indicate on the facebook event if you are attending the event, so that we have an idea of how many are coming to support.  Thank you.
